Turnout 2012

The following map shows how the percentage turnout for the 2012 Mayoral election varied across London.

For each ward in London, the percentage was calculated from the number of registered voters and the number of votes received.  The darker colours show a higher turnout and the lighter colours show the areas with the lowest turnout.

The bands were chosen to split the data evenly into 5 groups (so the 19 – 30% group are the lowest 20% of Wards in London, the 30-33% are the next 20% and so on). The City of London has been merged into a single area because of its small residential population.
