Voting in person at a polling station
Voting at a polling station
Before polling day you will be sent a poll card which will include details of where your polling station is and a list of accepted forms of photo ID.
You do not need to take the poll card with you to vote, but it will help polling station staff find your address on the voting register.
When you arrive at the polling station you will be asked for your name, address and photo ID. Staff will check that your name on the electoral register matches your ID and then give you three ballot papers. Staff can also help you understand how to fill them out.
