London re-elects Sadiq Khan as Mayor of London
The Greater London Returning Officer (GLRO) has announced that Sadiq Khan has been elected the Mayor of London for the next four years.
The GLRO announced the result of the Mayoral election at City Hall.
This year’s election used the first-past-the-post system to elect the new Mayor of London, with Londoners casting a vote for a single candidate.
Sadiq Khan won with 1,088,225 votes, with Susan Hall securing 812,397.
