London Elects and the Electoral Commission joint communications toolkit
London Elects and the Electoral Commission have a statutory duty to run separate campaigns.
The Electoral Commission is running national campaigns to promote photo ID requirements and encourage voter registration, and London Elects is running a campaign to raise awareness of when, where and how to vote in the London elections.
This joint toolkit will help ensure messaging is clear and consistent across London. It includes an overview of the campaigns, guidelines on how and when to use assets and template copy for websites and social media.
Please always refer to the elections as the Mayor of London and London Assembly elections.
